Specialized and Giant team up for dirt demos

Fancy having a go on the best bikes from Specialized and Giant? Then the Specialized Challenge Series is for you. Complimented by the Sram and Magura partnership at the event, it aims to give riders of all levels the best possible environment to test the bikes and their own performance. Some of the best trails in the UK have been selected for the demo days. Here are the details: 1) 1st of April - SCS 1 7Stanes trail head - Dumfries 2) 22nd of April - SCS 2 Grizedale Forest Park - Cumbria 3) 28th and 29th of April - Enduro 6 Catton Hall - Staffordshire 4) 12th and 13th of May - SCS 3 Gwydyr Forest - Snowdonia 5) 3rd of June - SCS 4 Staunton Country Park - Hants 6) 22 - 24th of June - Mountain Mayhem 24 Ledbury - Hereford Each Challenge Series day will have 2 rides to suit riders varied abilities in addition to the demo rides. The Enduro 6 weekend will incorporate a Ladies Day on 28th April to test their performance in what might be a less competitive environment. Riders can invite along a non riding or novice ability friend to experience mountain biking for the first time with a one lap challenge ride on the Enduro 6 course. Similarly at the Snowdonia Bike Fest a special short ride will be marked for female mountain bikers to bring friends along on the Saturday. According to Richard Hemington, Managing Director of Specialized in the UK, "The Specialized Challenge Series are a great opportunity for Specialized and its partners to interact with outdoor and cycling enthusiasts and to give experienced and non riders alike a fun day out to remember".
